How do I view these videos?

Joe Fugate

These videos have been collected together and put on DVDs. For example, if you order DVD volume 4 on Scenery and Bridges, you will be able to watch these videos -- they are each a chapter on that DVD.

If you want just a given chapter and that's all, a few of these are also available from Model Railroader as downloadable video PDFs for $5.95 each.

Joe Fugate

We were producing some video PDFs of this material for Model Railroader, but as of September 1st, 2007 we're no longer doing that. MR's price point of $5-$6 per video chapter seems a bit high, and we found sales of these video PDFs to be rather slow (we suspect the high price point had a lot to do with that).

We're making individual chapters from our DVDs available as a downloads, starting at $1.99 each, which we feel is a much better price point and it's right in line with what Apple is charging for iTunes video downloads.

Eventually, our entire video collection will be available as instant downloads for less than half the DVD + postage price. You can instantly download the videos and play them on your iPod or iPhone, on your PC or Mac, or burn them to DVD and watch them on your TV.
